Levi Shephard
Levi is the President of The National Association of Lash Artists.
Over the years Levi has gained experience in many aspects of business; lash artist, lash extensions educator, lash and brow studio owner, professional product developer, magazine columnist, founder of an accredited training academy, international stage presenter, author of business-building ebooks, creator of a global industry awards program, and founder of this international association.

Fendi Oung
Fendi Oung is the Founder, CEO and Director of Education at THE LASH SHOP, and a Board Advisor for the National Association of Lash Artists. Fendi is multi-certified in Classic Lash Extensions, Volume Lash Extensions, Mega Volume Lash Extensions, Lash Lift & Tint, Brow Lamination and Tint, Microblading and Ombre Brows. She was one of the first to become an Accredited Lash Artist and Certified Educator in Canada.
Julia Mann
Julia is the CEO of Lash Tribe and lives in beautiful Australia. She is a lash trainer, judge, business growth coach, best selling author and multi-award winner, training thousands of artists world-wide. Julia has made it her mission to bring the best of the best training and trainers to the world, unite stylists and create successful pro lash artists. Julia is the official NALA School for Lash Trainers director in Brisbane where she helps elite lash artists become well-known trainers themselves.
Julia is most well known for her online lash courses, social media presence & business knowledge within the lash industry. Her newest program is the Lash Tribe Elite Academy where she works with artists and salon owners 1:1 on all things business and branding to get them to 10K, 20K, 30K per month and beyond.
Ethel Reddy
Ethel has served in the beauty industry offering hair and make up services for 35 years and is the owner of "E The Look" in San Fransisco, California. Since 2000 Ethel has embraced the Lash Industry and strengthened her lash knowledge & skills.
Ethel keeps up with the lash industry by continuously educating herself through beauty school courses and industry trade shows & conferences.
Ethel's upbeat personality & giving nature has her volunteering with 'Look Good Feel Better' to enrich patients self confidence through beauty. Most recently, studying the effects on lashes and the course of action that will best address this change.

Begoña Quijano
Begoña is the CEO and Founder of Bright Lash Eyelash Extensions and Academy, in Mexico City. She is the Spanish Representative for NALA.
She is certified as the 1st generation in Mexico by Olga Drobonravova, the legendary creator of the Volume Technique, certified by Loreta Jasilionyte of Flawless Lashes, in "Advanced Volume Training", and certified by Ellie Malmin of Eye and Lash Health Institute in "Allergies and sensitivity how to identify and treat them before they occur."
She established her Academy in 2016. Her academy is accredited by NALA, which guarantees her students that her course is aligned under the highest standards and that her academies certificates are granted only with international validity.
Begoña was nominated in 2019 as Best Lash Artist in the safety and hygiene category.
Emily Lee
Lord Emily Lee, AKA The Queen Bee, is an Award-winning Esthetician and Lash Professional in Vancouver, Canada. She is the Founder of Vancouver-based studio, Queen Bee Spa; an International Judge, Educator and Lash Mentor; an Advisory Board Member of NALA; a freelance Competition Consultant and a passionate Content Creator. Emily was the Competition Director of the Royal Canadian Lash Championships for two years, the Supreme Overlord of Lash Wars (North America’s first live lash competition) and Executive Director of NEESA for four years.
These days, Emily can be found providing impartial product and training reviews, event coverage, and tips and tricks videos on BeautyPro Media’s YouTube channel; and continually researching and updating her Infection Prevention & Control Course curriculum. This course is a culmination of over 7 years of research and is available to be licensed for use by academies and trainers globally.
Emily believes in being honest, real, integrous, uplifting, ethical, fun, authentic, inspired, passionate, and most of all, she believes in being the change.
Sandy Landsborough
Sandy began her career in the lash industry in 2014. She is the Managing Director of NCS Pro Academy with a sole focus on education, mentoring, advocating & business development coaching.
Sandy personally mentors all of her students, using her background in business to help them with everything from gaining and growing their clientele to marketing and brand recognition. Her students find a great mentor in Sandy and leave with the tools and confidence to succeed.
Sandy is pleased to be a part of an organization that is pioneering positive change. Having always been an advocate for proper training and regulations herself, NALA is a natural fit.
Heydy Garcia
Heydy has been a lashmaker since March 2010 and Lash instructor since 2013. She is a Floridian Esthetician who specializes in lash extensions.

Heydy joined the Board of Advisors because with 13 years of experience in the lash industry, she believes she will be able to offer major support and knowledge to our industry.
Kara Bubley
With over 15 years of experience in the beauty industry paired with a background in building businesses, Kara has been able to become a master of her craft. Kara became one of the first Expert Brow Micro-pigmentation Artists & Eyelash Extension Instructors in British Columbia, Canada. This has allowed Kara to excel her skills and build a reputation of being the best within the industry.
It has always been Kara's passion to help women connect with their INNER beauty. She had recognized early on in her career that she was able to do this and positively influence ladies’ self-esteem through cosmetics. She feels her greatest achievement will always be when she is able to help inspire women to become the best version of themselves on the inside and out.

Sheila Bellwood
Sheila has built a great career in the beauty industry. She has been a professional hair stylist for 24 years and opened her own salon in 2007. Sheila’s passion for the beauty industry has taken her to exotic places for training, hair shows and competitions. She is an award winning hair stylist with experience as a make up artist and an esthetician. Sheila also has experience as an educator and thoroughly enjoys teaching and mentoring students to be their best.
Sheila was certified as an eyelash extension technician in 2012, however she does not offer lash extensions because she never felt confident enough to do so. Sheila was disappointed with the training she received, but is now pleased to see that so many training facilities are offering more detailed training with great support after graduation.
Sheila joined the NALA Board of Advisors to share her experience in the beauty industry and offer advice about regulations, infection control, client service, etc.
Ashlee Rouge
Ashlee has been in the industry for 9 years. 4 years as an educator, judge and speaker at lash competitions and virtual seminars
She has been a salon owner for over 4 years and has worked with lash artists from around the world. Her experience of being a lash studio owner, stylist and trainer, along with a strong passion to improve the industry standards is a great asset to our community and board.
She loves being part of a community that values the betterment of the lash industry. Her main goal is to change the industry by being able to provide resources, events and accurate information for those who may not be aware or were poorly informed on the standards of healthy and safe lash application.
Lilliana Lamtenzan
Liliana is the President & Founder of Max Lashes, the most prestigious Peruvian eyelash brand. Liliana pioneered the eyelash extension technique in Latin America and continues to revolutionize the industry. Her advanced education in business, marketing, and eyelash artistry sets Liliana apart as a visionary and industry leader.
Liliana’s passion and care for others led her to this industry; allowing her to transform, inspire, and encourage self confidence in her clients. Her willingness to teach and her personal skills will ensure the continued growth and advancement of the eyelash extension industry.
Layla Chavez
Layla founded MYNX™ in 2016. She began her career as an airbrush tanning technician in 2013 in a wellness centre in Bethesda, MD.
Layla is a licensed esthetician and licensed permanent cosmetic artist/educator with more than 6 years of experience. She received her esthetics license from the Aveda institute in Washington, D.C., and studied master esthetics and permanent cosmetics at the esthetic institute in Vienna, VA. Layla travelled around the Unite States as a certified lash extension instructor for 3 years with Lavish Lashes.
She is a 4x certified lash stylist. She is also a NALA Accredited Member and has received her NALA Educator Certificate. Layla is also an AAAM Board Certified Member and is an insured esthetician by the ASCP insurance company.
Jancina Dyer
Jancina Dyer is the founder and CEO of Colorado Lash Company and Colorado Lash & Brow Academy. She has been a Licensed Esthetician and lash professional since 2006.
During her time as an eyelash professional she has had the opportunity to educate new lash professionals as a brand educator, franchise educator, retail salon educator as well as creating a product and education company of her own which she sold in 2017. She holds multiple certifications in classic, volume and mega-volume lashes as well as lash lifting and brow lamination. She is certified in brow shaping and design and is an educator for Beautiful Brows and Lashes. Last year she completed training an Associate Level Trichologist.
Prior to her life as a lash professional, she worked in the field of Ophthalmology as a Certified Ophthalmic Technician and Certified Ophthalmic Surgical Assistant. Jancina also had the opportunity to work as an Adjunct Instructor at Pueblo Community College instructing students in Ophthalmic Surgical Assisting, Ocular Manifestations of Systemic Diseases, as well as Ophthalmic Photography. When not in her Colorado Springs Studio she enjoys hiking and traveling.
Techy Llatas
Techy has been the Founder and General Director of Lash Peru in the capital city of Lima, Peru since the year 2011.
She has a master's degree in Evaluation and Accreditation of the Educational Quality of the Enrique Guzmán y Valle National University of Education plus a bachelor's degree in the specialty of Primary Education and Learning Disabilities from the National University José Faustino Sánchez Carrión.
In addition, she has obtained different national and international recognitions, which has allowed her to be an organizer of various events such as the 1st Championship of eyelashes and eyebrows Online – PERU, carried out for solidarity purposes during the covid-19 pandemic in 2020 and, 2 years later, the 1st Congress and Workshop Of Eyelashes and Eyebrows Face-to-face to train new Lash Artists and contribute their knowledge to experienced professionals.
Techy Llatas Avendaño is a Master Trainer who is constantly looking for the best updates, educating herself in the most innovative training with professionals first level, to then be able to share her learning in the next events to be organized and continue to grow professionally.

Lucia Vinagre
Lucia has almost 8 years of experience in the world of eyelash extensions. She is the Founder of the Studio and Academy Beauty Lash Bar based in Merida Yucatan.
Her academy offers trainings in Classical technique, Russian Volume and Mega Volume. Lucia is the creator of the Mega Workshop "12 Different Styles."
She has completed Russian Volume, and Lash Modeling courses, with Kristina Slavova, Russian Volume and Mega Volume Courses with Anastasia Hutsaliuk, and many more.
Lucia has been a Judge at Lash MasterPiece Competition, Christmas Lash Competitions, and The Lash School Competition.
She is the Winner of multiple competitions such as:
1st Place in Pink Lash Challenge, 3rd Place Symmetry Lash Match in Queen category Expert level, 1st Place for Mega Volume in The 1st Lash Competition in The State of Mexico 2019, etc.
She is currently Nominated in Top LASHISTAS AWARDS III-2023.
Amanda Curtis
Amanda is the founder and owner of Prestige'd Studio in Leduc, Alberta. She has been an Accredited NALA Member since 2018.
Amanda opened up Lash Boutique and Lounge on January 4, 2018. She started out with just herself, and then went to one, two, three staff members.
In 2020, Prestige'd Studio came to light. She is so excited to say that they have; 2 Full Time Employees, 1 Part Time Employee, 4 Full Time Room Rentals, and 2 Part Time Space Rentals.
Amanda is certified in Classics, Volumes, Mega Volumes, Lash Lifts and Tints, Brow Shaping including Waxing and Tinting.
She has been nominated for an array of NALA Industry Awards including our 2020 Customer Service Award, our 2020 Mentorship Award, 2020 Lash Studio of The Year, and many more! Amanda has also been nominated for her Local Chamber of Commerce awards including 2020 Young Business Leader of the Year, 2020 Start-up Business of the Year, and 2020 Small Business of the Year.
